Loft or Garage Extensions

Loft Conversions

Is your loft wasted living space? A growing family may need an extra bedroom, or you require a home office or a guest room with an ensuite.  Moving home is expensive and stressful, so having your loft converted could answer your problems; ‘move up rather than out’.

A loft conversion does need to meet building regulations at a minimum, and some may require planning permission.

Garage Conversions

Some garages are cold, empty and under-utilised spaces; a garage converted into a warm useable space can increase the value of a property. Some properties have two garages, so your car parking space is fine even by utilising one of them. Properties with double tandem garages could convert part of their garage (the back half) into living space.

A converted garage could provide a family room, playroom, home office, granny annexe, library, study, dining room, gym or TV/cinema room.

Building regulations, as with all conversions, are required for garage conversions, but most straightforward garage conversions do not require planning permission.
